OUTLINE:
If you meet the following criteria, you can request for a Start-up visa:

You want to start a business in the UK.
-
You should not be a member of the European Economic Area (EEA) or a Swiss national.

You match the other criteria.
OBTAINING A RECOMMENDATION:
You must be approved by one of the following organizations:

A business organization with a history of aiding UK entrepreneurs.

A UK higher education institution.
You must be able to demonstrate that your company concept meets the following criteria:

A novel concept - you can't join or engage in a company that is currently profitable.

Viable, with room for expansion.
You should only contact support that are appropriate for your company concept after reading the list of endorsing bodies.
HEALTH SERVICES SURCHARGE:
As part of the application process, you'll have to also spend a healthcare premium. Before you enroll, figure out just what you'll have to spend.
HOW LONG WILL YOU BE ABLE TO STAY?

You are permitted to stay in the UK for 2 years on a Start-up visa.

You will not be able to apply for a visa extension.
IF YOUR RECOMMENDATION IS REVOKED,

If your recommendation is revoked, your visa may be revoked. If you want to stay longer, you must resubmit with a new endorsement before your current visa expires.

Even if you get a new visa with a fresh endorsement, you may only remain for a total of two years.

Bring along family members.

Work in another job while also working for your company.

You can move to this visa from another visa category.
YOU ARE UNABLE TO:

Obtain state money.

Working as a doctor or dentist in coaching.

You cannot work as a skilled professional athlete, such as a sports coach.

Cannot reside in the UK.
